The Unicorn book whetted our appetites for more. As our publishers were then in intensive care, Roger and Linda boldly decided to publish this one themselves on the back of the international card business they run from the Lakeside Gallery at Lezant, Cornwall. It's sold very well wherever it's appeared, and has repaid us far more than books that have shifted many more copies, but there were some nail-biting moments in the early days and we're in no great rush to repeat the exercise.
Linda is of course famous for her goddess paintings anyway, so she wore the captain's hat for this one, and the stunning cover was totally her concept. It would be nice one day to see it three-dimensionally embossed in hardback.
