DEATH OF A RATIONAL MAN published by BigO Posters 1976
high resolution file available here

This was kind of a prequel to Rebirth i.e. you have to die before you can be reborn. The lower third of the picture shows a rather grand set of buildings inhabited by a curiously poverty stricken and mostly glum set of people who are quite oblivious to the more colourful set of characters in the upper part of the picture. Also to the strange crucifixion being enacted in the centre of the fountain. That’s because those things are completely invisible to them, existing in a kind of parallel dimension to which they are blind. A little in-joke is that the building on the far side of the square beyond the arch bears a more than passing resemblance to the Jesuit boarding school, St George's, where I once learned many a hard lesson in patience.

The general drift of the piece is I suppose quite in tune with the hippy times in which it was created – cast off the bleak shackles of rationalism to rise up into the realms of bright imagination. The mystical couple guiding the newly released and terrified-looking soul are kind of its spiritual parents – the Anima and Self in Jungian parlance.
