WARRIOR QUEEN'S SHIELD

This is a picture I completely lost and had in fact altogether forgotten about when I came across it again. I was trying to track down the original drawing for Rebirth and approached the gallery owner who had bought it in the faint hope he might still have it. He didn’t but he did have this picture hanging in his bedroom which I was able to borrow and scan. What a pleasant surprise that was. The idea behind it was that this is the defensive facade that a feeling woman presents to the world after finding that it is not always naturally a kind place. Her real self is the green-robed lady in the forehead of the shield she presents to the world.
